Hiking in Rainier with my Man. I realized something about being old. When you're young you see the world from within you. Your pleasures, your senses, your reasons. But as one ages, the concept of Self is more and more abstracted and styalized to fit into the surrounding norm. And this makes time fly by, as you are removed from a river and all that is viewed is the rapid current, not the intricate eddies that flow within. to maintain your youth, keep your eyes inside looking out; not outside looking down as that is the surest treason.

True smiths are hard to find these days; unfortunately there is a large supply of those who because they have tapped a piece of metal "it immediately qualifies them for the title" or so they think! It is of course refreshing to see great work that not only is aesthetically pleasing but also contains something a little deeper! Yes I am familiar with Ganoksin the problem is I am running out of sources on the internet I fear that I have seen them all haha! PS don't know if you are familiar with the organization, abana.org is a good blacksmithing group and you might even be able to find an apprenticeship through them! As is anvilfire.com... Good Luck and thanks for the FAV!
